First get-together event for our M1 students
The first cohort since Aix-Marseille University (AMU) took over the central coordination of the programme visited CEA-IRFM and AMU last week. The students visited the WEST tokamak and its systems, they had meetings and discussions with local PhD students and with the local coordinators of the FUSION-EP universities: CTU Prague, U Stuttgart, UGent, U Lorraine (Nancy), AMU & CEA-INSTN, U Complutense and U Carlos III de Madrid. The students could also have a glimpse of the local culture and the Provence countryside around Lourmarin and enjoy some free time to get to know each other.
